Massage and Massage Therapy: What's the Difference? ๐ค
Many people use these terms interchangeably, but they're not quite the same.
Massage is a broad term focused on techniques that promote relaxation and stress relief, while Massage Therapy is more specialized and is administered by Registered Massage Therapists. Massage therapy can be used to improve general health, address specific health conditions, and aid injury recovery.

Reminders before you tackle the snow!
Dress warm and warm up. Warming up is the first step to mitigating potential injuries. Muscles that are cold and tight are prone to injuries. Take that extra 5-10 mins to warm up.
Make sure you are wearing adequate winter clothing! Even if you are just shoveling for a few minutes, temperature extremes can affect your body and muscles.
Remember to take breaks! Shoveling snow is an exercise, like all exercise your body can only handle so much at a time. If you feel fatigued, make sure to take a break to recuperate.

We hope everyone is staying warm and healthy now that it's looking like winter! Here are a couple of tips for your wellbeing when shoveling snow.
1. Push, don't lift
When shoveling, try pushing the snow as much as possible, this way you mitigate potential injuries to your body from improper lifting.
2. Use Proper Posture
Bend your knees, keep your back straight, and keep your hands apart. Remember to use your legs when lifting to prevent bending or twisting your back.
