“Teaching Computers to See Like People Do” fMRI Study 💻👀 - PARTICIPANTS NEEDED!
The UAlberta Fyshe Lab is conducting a research study aiming to guide the training of Neural Net models using brain images captured while people perform visual tasks.
Participants Needed!
Who and What? Adults over the age of 18, normal or corrected to normal vision. Participants needed with moderate-advanced/expert levels of bird knowledge, please specify. Anyone pursuing studies in avian ecology/ornithology is preferred, but all interested are welcome to participate!
When and Where? Inside MRI at the Peter S. Allen MR Research Centre, U of A, booked during weekdays!
Compensation: $30 e-gift card.

Participants Needed!
Who and What? Neurotypical adults, ages 18-35, normal or corrected to normal vision. There will be a bird identification quiz as practice for the MRI. Participants needed with varying levels of bird knowledge, from unknowing to bird experts.
When and Where? Inside MRI at the Peter S. Allen MR Research Centre, UofA, booked during weekdays!

This research study explores computer models of language meaning (CoMLaM) using behavioural and MRI data in individuals with and without autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Who? Adults 18 years of age or older.
When and Where? Two sessions. Online and MRI.
The first session will be online and will work around your schedule. The second session will be during the weekday as it will happen at an MRI Centre, located on the UAlberta campus.
What will you be doing? Completing behavioural tasks online and while inside an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine.
Compensation: You will receive $40 in the form of an e-gift card for completing both sessions.
