We’re thrilled to announce a brand new partnership with Don’Ya

You’ve likely seen them featured in and — but if you haven’t, Don’Ya is Canada’s first newcomer-run Ukrainian kitchen, producing truly authentic Ukrainian foods.

Born in 2022 in the wake of the invasion, Don’Ya has grown to support more than 25 newcomers.

A remarkable example of food, identity, and memory woven into every dish.

We’re honoured to bring their products to the

week starts tomorrow, and we are stoked to unveil this year’s dish: Cape d’Or Organic Salmon Poke Bowl.

Marinated organic Atlantic salmon served on top of seasoned sushi rice, garnished with shredded purple cabbage, sliced radish, pickled red onions, diced cucumber, and roasted edamame. Finished with a drizzle of ponzu mayo and a pinch of Seven Seas Togarashi seasoning.

Pop into the store for lunch from October 2nd to the 12th!

With dining week coming up, we tested Cape d’Or Organic Salmon poke bowls for this week.

We’re still tweaking the final details, but Seven Seas Togarashi and Soy, Ginger Marinade will play a big part.

We are really excited to be partnering with Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Company to launch the new Uncommon Pursuits lineup of beers! Join us on Saturday, May 31st for a sun-soaked day of brewing craftsmanship and shucked shells! 💪

Uncommon Pursuits: Crabapple is a collaboration with Uncommon Cider Co. that started with crab apples harvested from backyards in the city of Calgary in 2019. Uncommon made the cider using some of our barrels, and released it alongside three other fruit wines in 2021. The freshly emptied barrels were then filled with spontaneous beer at Blind Enthusiasm, where they fermented for two years, picking up distinct flavours from each barrel and fruit. Saturday, May 31 is the Edmonton launch party, at The Monolith. Experience all 4 of the new Uncommon Pursuits beers alongside oysters from Ocean Odyssey Inland. Stay tuned for details about the Calgary release on June 13 and 14 in Calgary at Uncommon Cider.
