These block supports and makeshift shims are absolutely alarming! A $16,800 project should not rely on unstable-looking foundation work under the structure.

I am honestly losing my mind over this... My buddy has about $6,800 into materials already and keeps telling me "it'll all come together once the decking goes on" but I walked over there today and immediately started questioning everything.

Spent $26,400 on this backyard deck and pergola setup and now I'm regretting every dollar At first glance it looked amazing, but after the contractor left
we noticed uneven railings, sloppy cuts on the pergola beams, and stairs that already creak after one week.
