Working on a Farmhouse-style shoe bench today. BC red cedar, solid build, great smell. Organizes shoes and briefly tricks people into thinking your entryway is under control.

Another Farmhouse Shoe Bench Found a Good Home 🏡
Sold another one of my farmhouse-style shoe benches this week, this one’s headed to a beautiful log home, so at least it won’t be surrounded by drywall wondering where it belongs.
Feels good seeing these pieces go to families who appreciate solid wood and practical builds. I’ve sold a few sets now, and every time someone loads one up, it reminds me why I keep pushing through long days and cold nights in the shop.
Thanks to everyone who’s been supporting my work, whether it’s buying, sharing, or just telling me I’m pretty handy for a guy who can’t find his car keys.

Here's a few photos of our shoe racks before we place 4 coats of finish and place em on facebook Market Place.
Built the end pieces on the CNC, glued everything up with beautiful red cedar from BC, and now it’s ready for four coats of finish. As the Blue Jays get set for Game Six of the World Series, it’s a warm Halloween night here in Alberta — +8°C, which is almost unheard of!
Here’s to woodworking, good weather, and hopefully a Jays win tonight.
