Description: NGT Energy (NGTE) is seeking a Materials and Supply Chain Coordinator. The project is in the Oil & Gas industry sector for the design and fabrication of specialized measurement instrumentation. NGTE is an Emerging technology SME private company, based in Edmonton.

Type of Employment: Fixed-term contract: 100-hours intern position.

Work Model: Fully Remote

Main Duties
• Design production runs for a cost and time-efficient manner.
• Design various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information.
• Plan inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
• Plan logistics of the movement of parts, supplies and materials within an establishment and ensure that supplies, materials and products are shipped and received on schedule.

Preferred & Asset
• The holder must be part of a business-related career, or just recently graduated.
• Be able to understand, memorize and conceptualize the different technical aspects of a product.
• Have a general knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Have strong teamwork skills and be flexible.
• Be able to work remotely and under pressure.
• Be rigorous, curious, resourceful, autonomous, enthusiastic, and diligent.

Description: NGT Energy (NGTE) is seeking a Hardware/Software Integration Coordinator. The project is in the Oil & Gas industry sector for the design and fabrication of specialized measurement instrumentation. NGTE is an Emerging technology SME private company, based in Edmonton .

Type of Employment: Fixed-term contract: 200-hours intern position.

Work Model: Fully Remote

Main Duties
• Coordinate work related to the communication and functionality between our electronics components, and the software that runs them.
• Coordinate work related to writing our software code(s) to manage our electronics hardware.
• Coordinate work related to building our interface software to talk to our electronics hardware.
• Assist to identify and fix issues where software and hardware conflict occur during the testing process.

Required:
• The holder must be part of an engineering-related career, or just recently graduated.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Have strong teamwork skills and be flexible.
• Be able to work remotely.
• Be rigorous, curious, resourceful, autonomous, enthusiastic, and diligent.

Experience in the below areas would be considered an asset:
• Knowledge of CSA and ABSA standards are not required but are important assets.
• Proficient with computer applications like Adobe, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project (or similar planning software).
• A general knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
