howdy folks!! outreach this past sunday was a sunny but windy day with lots of community, including clothing and blanket donation part way through. thanks to everyone who supports us and thanks to all who comes out to get supplies ❤️

Can you tell we drafted this post before seventh winter? We'll be out in the park again tomorrow with the last of our winter supplies. Hopefully the last time they're needed this year!

You've heard of second winter but what about... I've lost count already winter?

Stay warm out there, friends!

Yesterday we distro'd a whole bunch of clothes! The library warming space gives folks the chance to take their time trying items on in the bathroom, to get dry items that fit well. It's still getting below freezing at night and the risks of frostbite, trench foot and pneumonia are still there. The park was covered in slippery ice so one of our volunteers brought sand to add grip to the park distro, no slips or falls happened during outreach!

From Sundays outreach! A hot meal, hot coffee & the library warming space to bring some reprieve to our neighbours who have been trying to survive winters deadly nights and icy days.

Was a good day at outreach. We got a great clothing donation towards the end of the day! Thank you all for your continued support!
