AFEA Is Officially Underway! 🚀

This morning at 10:00 a.m., we were delighted to welcome participants, facilitators, and partners to the 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 (𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐀)—marking another important step in our journey to help Alberta businesses and economic development practitioners prepare for the future economy.

A major highlight was the launch of our new 𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐬 – 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐌𝐒 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, a dedicated digital learning and business-support platform developed to enhance the AFEA experience.

Through the platform, participants can access structured learning pathways, business diagnostics, mentorship, workshops, funding resources, investment-readiness support, progress tracking, and other practical tools, while giving facilitators a stronger framework to support participants throughout their learning journey.

AFEA goes beyond training. Our goal is to create a practical ecosystem where SMEs, entrepreneurs, investment and economic development professionals can build capabilities in AI adoption, economic diversification, cybersecurity, investment readiness, business growth, and future workforce development.

A very special thank you to the Government of Alberta for its support in making this initiative possible.
