Tomorrow is the Lemonade Stand Day for the Stollery children's hospital foundation. I'll be making lemon custard donut bites for my sons' stand and they will be available starting at 10am. Come on by 1244 Summerside Dr tomorrow to help raise funds for the children's hospital.

Thank you Summerside for such a great year! I've had lots of fun meeting and baking for you. Sadly, I have to close my kitchen down for a little while. I hope to open again after the summer.

It's been a heartbreaking week watching the news. My thoughts are with all of those who are affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

I'm looking forward to bring my family to the winter fun day put on by the Horizon Community League on Saturday. It looks like it will be lots of fun for everyone. Lots of prizes to be won, including free bread!! Hope to see you there!

Merry Christmas!

I was reminded by my kids that Santa is visiting shortly and I need to stay on his nice list. So I've been practicing my best to avoid being knotty.

Great job with all your guesses everyone, but there can only be one correct answer. Congrats to Rhea for guessing the exact number of pretzels, 325.

The runners up, with the most impressively incorrect guesses are Jennifer who was off by 1 and Lindsey who made me laugh by shooting the moon.

Who's up for a fun little game? Closest person to guess how many pretzels this 20kg bag of flour will make will win a half-dozen pretzels.
