The final flight and we are home. Though it felt amazing being away and having fun, there is no place like home. With this final post, my trip to Pakistan ends and life in yeg starts again.

We board our second flight and though there is a sense of sadness knowing our vacation is ending but there is also a sense of excitement to be finally going home after such a long time.

We take the first plane, realizing that our vacation is over. It's time to go back to the routine of school and work and long days. Though it was over faster than we wanted, we were content. We got to meet our family, explore new locations and make so many more connections not only with other individuals but also our roots and culture.

Another long hallway but this time, it's a goodbye. We leave Makli behind and get ready to go home. Its time to fly back to Canada.
