Today, we celebrated the official ribbon cutting of Hell’s Kitchen Enoch. A major milestone and an exciting new addition to our community.

This opening represents more than a new restaurant. It’s another step forward in creating opportunities, bringing people together, and showcasing what’s possible right here in Enoch Cree Nation.

We’re proud to welcome Hell’s Kitchen to Enoch and look forward to seeing this space come alive with great food, (some indigenous cuisine), and even more memories.

The Edmonton Arts Council (EAC), on behalf of the City of Edmonton, is seeking six Indigenous artists or artist teams to create artworks for mistahaya wîkihk Community Recreation Centre. The RFQ deadline is October 5, 2026, at noon.

Elder Bob Cardinal of Enoch Cree Nation gifted the Lewis Farms Community Recreation Centre the Cree name mistahaya wîkihk (pronounced mist-ah-hi-ya wee-gik). The name translates to ​‘The Big One’s at his home/​Grizzly Bear’s Home’.

Two of the artwork locations at the new centre will feature selected artists or artist teams from Enoch Cree Nation. Indigenous artists working across Canada are welcome to apply for the other four public art projects. Enoch artists are eligible to apply for all available opportunities. Emerging public art artists are strongly encouraged to apply.
