A day for reflection and acknowledgment.
This piece is haunting and heartbreaking, and we must never forget that it happened, and in many ways is still happening.
We must do better as a country to right these wrongs.

As we mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, we invite you to spend time with Kent Monkman’s The Definition of Genocide (Study for The Scream), now on view in the Harrison McCain Pavilion.
While A Family Journey: The Private Collections of the Sobey Family is down for exhibition changeover, we have brought this important work back on view as an opportunity for reflection and remembrance.
The Beaverbrook Art Gallery will be open September 30 from 10 am – 5 pm. Admission to view the work is free, and the Beaverbrook is always free for Indigenous visitors.
The work will remain on view through October 1, when we continue this conversation with Art, Truth, and Reconciliation, featuring acclaimed Plains Cree artist, curator, and scholar Gerald McMaster, followed by a panel with Alan Syliboy and Jake Kimble, moderated by Emma Hassencahl-Perley.

Love seeing this first thing on Monday morning. Heck yeah!
And what a great opportunity to spend some time learning from one of the best!
Ready to work with me … AGAIN?!
Hi Dream Team family. It’s me 🙋🏼♀️ Since closing my doors at the end of May, it’s been a very long and painful 4 months. I sincerely miss connecting with dogs and their people and learning about you, celebrating you, and pushing you forward at the pace you need!
I wish I could give you a positive update about my health and treatment, but the universe continues to have other plans. I have focused on learning more about my diagnoses and doing what I can do on my own. But unfortunately, getting treatment has turned into more of a legal battle than a medical one and I have yet to receive the treatment I need.
A piece of my soul is missing. Coaching teams brings me so much joy.
So I may try this if there is enough interest:
This weekend - October 3/4 - seminars.
Options: recall, loose leash, advanced distraction training, impulse control…
Interested? Available? What would you like to learn?
Pricing and exact location/time to be determined… likely O’Dell Park.
I hope this interests you or that I can offer something else that does 🙏
If this is successful, I may start doing a few more of these throughout the fall.
Thanks for being here 🐾
Thought some of you may find this interesting!

Keeping the special ones safe and happy, that's what I am here for! 😍😍
Daycare is back in full swing!
Have a listen for some info, important dates, and a general what's goin' on!
Some greet the day ready to run a marathon, others like a reluctant hostage being dragged into consciousness against their will.
Which one are you today? 😆
Touching base, and some tough words I needed to get off my chest.
I'll be back on social media a little bit (not a lottle bit) more in the coming weeks as daycare season kicks back in.
