Foxstone Stable

Diatello is a flashy, quality 2014 16.2hh Hanoverian gelding. He has a show record from coast to coast up to 1.30m, but primarily up to 1.15m with a young adult amateur (USEF: 5756199) He successfully transitioned to the Equitation divisions in 2025, and was competitive indoors at regional finals as well as at the Royal West in Calgary. We see him as an avid jumper competitor for a rider with a few miles already under their belt, or as a lovely jumper equitation cross over type. He does need to rehearse the Liverpool, but is happy to jump it when it has been practiced. He is an Eq type with a bit of prep to have him quiet, focused and at his best for that division.

This horse is a delight to have in the barn, and a BLAST to ride. Located in Duncan, B.C. Trials available at Foxstone Stable or Thunderbird Show Park throughout the summer show season.

Chapter One (Cheeto) is a 16.1hh 2020 imported gelding by Kavango Sitte out of a Canadian River mare. He has an excellent pedigree, with two siblings currently competing at 1.45m and four more at 1.30m+.

He passed a complete North American-standard pre-purchase exam (including neck and back) in June 2025.
This gelding has a wonderful temperament—sweet, affectionate, and a favourite in the barn. He’s extremely straightforward, kind under saddle, and genuinely wants to please. He’s been ridden ba****ck and in a halter, and has a naturally quiet disposition.

He was competing up to 1.10–1.15m in Europe with a 13-year-old rider prior to import in July. Due to the owner’s recent pregnancy, he’s been lightly shown in the 0.85–0.90m divisions at Thunderbird this August and September—not a reflection of his scope or ability, but of the rider’s time off and cautious return to the sport.

He is currently competing at 1.15m gaining experience at DIHP until the end of this week (Week 7)

No special prep required at shows—he’s simple, brave and consistent.

🇺🇸Last week at DIHP (week 7) leaves Feb 22. The sweetest SAFEST guy with the most limited prep who is aiming to please at any level.

“Vinnie” is a 2016 Dutch Warmblood gelding who stands close to 17hh. He is the sweetest, most polite gentleman and has the best expression all the time. Vinnie is SAFE, quiet, auto change, and requires limited to no prep at the horse shows or in his routine schedule. He loves trail rides, has perfect manners for everything and is happy to teach a more novice rider the ropes. He is a good mover, with a quality jump and eye catching demeanour on course at any level. Vinnie has experience and ability ranging from the Long Stirrup division with an older amateur, to the 3’9 hunters and Derbies and is a rare find in that he happily does both competitively. “Cody” is a tall, 2015 liver chestnut gelding.
He is as brave as they come and is a great teacher. He is a very good mover with an exceptional rhythm, balance and ample scope. He has competed successfully in both the hunters and jumpers up to 1.10m. He rewards a good ride with a beautiful quality jump, automatic change and his all round best effort. He teaches you tact as he will let you know when you jam him with your spur or nag with your leg. Once you put him up ahead of your leg, he is a point and shoot type fellow. Cody is a big guy who requires lots of groceries and a program who will be mindful of his sensitive stomach and its maintenance. These are really the only things of note for this very adjustable, light gentle giant.
