Located in the Cowichan Valley SRTS is a public school with a focus. Kindergarten - Gr. 6
SRTS is a school of choice & as such has no catchement area. Somenos Rural Traditional School was closed by the SD79 School Board in 2013. Kindergarten to Grade 6

We are so pumped about our 2nd annual "Drumline Show" featuring some of Cowichan Vallyes finest drummers. Be sure to catch the action Saturday June 8th 2013 @ 6PM.

Kindergarten registration starts tomorrow Jan 28.
SRTS is accepting registrations K-6 and has an open catchement.
Also happening tomorrow at the school is - Family Literacy Day. 11:00 a.m. “Story, Song and Rhyme Time” for children 0-5 yrs old and their families. Have a snack and take a book home.
