This has been a difficult message to write, but I have procrastinated long enough.
Ongoing and frequent family obligations are impacting my ability to continue operating the dog boarding kennels.

As of Jan 1, 2026 I will no longer be taking any bookings. Any bookings currently in place or booked over the Christmas holidays that carry over into January will be maintained.

I will continue to provide boarding services for cats and other small critters. A business name change and phone number will be coming in the new year, but for now you can still book at 250-748-0143.

It has been an absolute joy to know and care for your dogs and a privilege that you have entrusted me with their care. I will miss them.

To help in your search for a new boarding kennel I have included the ones that I am aware of in the valley. I'm not recommending any one in particular as I have no direct experience with them but believer they are all reputable.

We are changing our weekend hours for pick up and drop off. Saturday and Sunday hours are now 8am-12pm and 3pm-5pm. Thank You!

I want to thank Laurie and Kyla for putting on this course. I especially appreciated the hands on training. I would highly recommend this to all dog owners. The next course offering is tentatively scheduled for October. Check it out!

To my valued customers, starting May 20th North Cowichan will have Herd Rd bridge closed until the fall. As well they are constructing a round a bout at Herd and Bell McKinnon. Customers can access Zoomies via Mays Rd if coming from the North (TCHwy) or Lake Cowichan. Coming from the South, Drinkwater Rd by the Forest Discovery Centre then onto Norcross and then Herd. Remember to take extra travel time into account if heading for the Ferries or Airport. Have a great summer and look forward to seeing my furry friends.

Do you need a warm safe place for your kitty to stay over the holidays? Individual cat runs plus a cat condo available for two or more house mates. Book early, space is limited.
