PERCY JACKSON – Novel/Literacy/Fine Arts Camp – Ages 8-12 – WestView Learning Centre Enter the world of the Olympians through the lens of Percy Jackson’s adventures. Join in the the ‘cos play’ and help co-create a Friday afternoon experience for all campers on site.

Happy to have 2 additional Summer Camps: June 30th - Dungeons and Dragons, and July 28th we have Everything Minecraft! Super fun!

MMMMMmmmmmm good - the kitchen was busy making treats for the upcoming event -- Extravaganza Bonanza - this Friday from 5:30 - 8:30. And.... we have an online auction ready to begin this Friday as well!

WestView Learning is offering 4 summer camps this summer to support young readers and writers! If you have a young reader who is into the exciting work of Greek Gods through Rick Riordan's "Percy Jackson" series, or Dragons through Tui Tamara Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" then we have a camp for your youngster where they will be able to read, write and act out their favourite parts or extend the stories for the original authors!

In addition we are really into the "WingFeather" series by Andrew Petersen - the Igiby Family have a considerable number of challenges in their path and the language is delightful! For those adults who had a good chuckle over the style of "The Princess Bride", then this is a series for them.

And... of course, nothing beats a writer's retreat for the youngster who appreciates a good story, a well worded newscast or caption, or even a budding poet!
