Van Isle Macrame

Van Isle Macrame turned 5 this month, and I’m definitely overdue for a proper introduction (as someone who doesn’t love showing her face on socials 🫣 — here we go!).

Hi, I’m Taylor — the face and hands behind it all. Five years ago, I made my first macrame piece: a mini air plant hanger for my car, which quickly gained attention in a few local houseplant Facebook groups and evolved into something more.

Since then, I’ve expanded Van Isle Macrame into a brand focused on creating functional macrame accessories and decor made to be used and loved every day. You can often find me attending markets across Vancouver Island, connecting in person, and sharing my work with this amazing community.

Many may not know, but I also work a full-time office job during the day, so this business has been built in the late evenings and on weekends — with a whole lot of dedication behind the scenes.

Hello 2026!✨

We’ve been enjoying our break after the holiday market season, and slowly getting back into creating this week.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported our business in 2025! This year would not have been possible without our lovely customers new and those who come back year after year, our amazing market helper .realestate , and my parents who help in the background.

This weekend you can find us at Eagle Ridge Arena in Langford for the annual Magic Of Christmas Market, hosted by with over 100+ vendors this is one of our favourite markets of the season. ✨

After some much needed time off we’re getting back into things. We started applying for markets this week,
booked a shoot for a product we’re releasing soon and started working on some orders✨
