With the crazy amount of snow we have just gotten, don't forget to lightly shovel around your outdoor heat pump. You Should shovel at least a foot to 2 feet around the heat pump so it can get enough air flow to continue to heat. Also be cautious as it may be slippery as everytime your heat pump goes into defrost it melts some water onto the ground which may turn to ice. Happy Snow days!
