Un excellent moment a été vécu par tous ceux qui sont venus à la soirée quiz au Macallan’s Pub. Nous étions 22 au total à profiter d’une soirée de compétition amicale, de bonne nourriture, de boissons et de nombreux éclats de rire.

A great time was had by all who came out to trivia night at West Island. There were 22 of us in total who enjoyed a night of friendly competition, good food, drinks, and lots of laughs.

Nous avons célébré le début de l’été avec notre dernière rencontre Monday Funday au chalet, en profitant d’un délicieux goûter de pizza ainsi que d’un gâteau pour souligner les anniversaires du mois de juin.
Nos rencontres hebdomadaires au chalet reprendront en septembre, mais nous avons hâte de retrouver notre groupe tout au long de l’été lors de diverses activités et sorties. Restez à l’affût pour plus d’événements amusants !

We celebrated the beginning of summer with our final Monday Funday gathering at the chalet, enjoying a delicious pizza party along with a special cake to celebrate our June birthdays.
Our weekly chalet gatherings will resume in September, but we look forward to seeing everyone throughout the summer at a variety of activities and outings. Stay tuned for more fun events!

Même les chiens sont venus soutenir la Marche SP Banlieue Ouest cette année ! Nous étions ravis de voir nos participants venir avec leurs compagnons à quatre pattes.

Encore une fois, nous souhaitons vous remercier d’avoir été des nôtres pour marcher, vous déplacer, faire du bénévolat et amasser des fonds lors de notre Marche SP Banlieue Ouest v 2026. Nous avons atteint un nombre record de participants avec 425 personnes et avons recueilli 125 000 $, un montant qui continue d’augmenter.

Once again we would like to thank you for coming out to walk, roll, volunteer, and fundraise with us for our MS Walk West Island 2026. We had a record attendance of 425 people and raised $125,00 and still counting.

Nous souhaitons exprimer notre immense gratitude à nos extraordinaires bénévoles pour leur soutien lors de notre Marche SP Banlieue Ouest. Un événement d’une telle envergure ne pourrait être réussi sans ce groupe remarquable.

Nous sommes reconnaissants envers notre conseil d’administration pour son soutien continu. Un grand merci à tous les bénévoles qui gèrent les différentes zones d’accueil, les tables de collations, la distribution des récompenses ainsi que les nombreuses autres tâches qu’ils accomplissent.

Nous souhaitons également souligner la participation des élèves de Royal West, qui se sont présentés en groupe de plus de 40 personnes cette année, incluent 15 finissants, pour appuyer plusieurs aspects de la marche. Ensemble, ils ont également amassé plus de 4 700 $ grâce à divers efforts collectifs.

Enfin, nous sommes très reconnaissants envers les bénévoles de Scotia Wealth, de la Banque Scotia et de Scotia McLeod pour leur participation cette année, tant pour leur collecte de fonds que pour leur implication à nos côtés.

We would like to extend a huge thanks to our amazing volunteers for supporting our MS Walk West Island. An event of this magnitude cannot be successful without this amazing group.

We are grateful to our board of directors for their ongoing support. Many thanks to all of the volunteers who manage all the areas of check in, snack tables, reward distribution, and all of the various jobs they take on.

We would also like to acknowledge the students of Royal West who came out as a group of over 40 this year including 15 graduates to support many areas of the walk. They also fundraised over $4700 dollars through various collective efforts.

Finally we are so grateful to the volunteers of Scotia Wealth, Scotia Bank, and Scotia Mcleod for joining us this year, fundraising, and volunteering along side us.

Nous avons largement dépassé notre objectif de collecte de fonds de 90 000 $, en amassant 123 000 $ — et ce n’est pas terminé, puisque la campagne demeure ouverte jusqu’au 30 juin.

Thats a wrap for the 2026 MS West Island Walk! There will be more posts in the days to come with wonderful photos that will capture the moments of an amazing day and many thanks to go around,. Nous sommes très heureux d’annoncer que notre Marche SP 2026 Banlieue Ouest aura lieu dans seulement quelques jours, le dimanche 31 mai. Nous sommes très fiers d’annoncer que notre objectif de collecte de fonds de 90 000 $ a été dépassé. À ce jour, le montant total amassé s’élève à un peu plus de 98 000 $.
Un grand merci à tous nos marcheurs et participants à roulettes qui se sont inscrits et ont contribué à la collecte de fonds. Nous prévoyons la participation de plus que 300 personnes, incluant des marcheurs individuels et des participants à roulettes, ainsi que 31 équipes.

We are so excited that our 2026 MS Walk West Island is only a few days away, Sunday May 31st. We are very proud to announce that our fundraising goal of $90 000 dollars has been exceeded. Our current fundraising total as of today is just over $98 000 dollars. Many thanks to all of our walkers and rollers who have registered and fundraised.
