🚨 The Lobster Shack is Shipping This Weekend! 🚨

The wait is almost over!

I'm excited to announce that the HO Scale Lobster Shack kits will begin shipping out this weekend. It's been a lot of work getting everything just right, but seeing these kits finally head out the door makes it all worthwhile.

A huge thank you to everyone who has followed along, commented, shared feedback, and placed an order. Your support means more than I can say, especially as Maple Street Models continues to grow.

For those of you who have ordered, keep an eye on your inbox for shipping updates. And once your Lobster Shack is built and on your layout, I'd love to see photos!

A little piece of the Black Water Lighthouse development process! ⚓️ 🛟

While prototyping the MSM-03 Black Water Lighthouse kit, I ended up with a few extra laser-cut support pieces from the production testing stage. Instead of throwing them away, I thought it would be fun to give them to someone who might be able to use them on their layout, diorama, or scratch-building project.

These are not part of the final kit — they are prototype/test pieces from the development process — but I think they could still make a neat little detail for someone’s model railroad scene.

Just leave a comment below and tell me where you would use them on your layout.

I’ll randomly pick one person on Wednesday, June 17, and send them what’s shown in the picture for free.

Hard at work on the next Maple Street Models release!

There’s still a lot of tweaking, testing, cutting, engraving, and adjusting going on behind the scenes, but I wanted to share a little sneak peek of the process.

It’s always exciting watching a new kit slowly come together piece by piece, and I can’t wait to show you more as it gets closer to release.

This little shack is packed with coastal character and is perfect for adding life to a harbor, wharf, fishing village, or seaside layout. The kit includes:

🦞 New HO Scale Lobster Traps – What Do You Think? 🦞

I've been experimenting with some laser-cut HO scale lobster traps for waterfront scenes, fishing wharves, harbors, and coastal industries.

Before I add these to the Maple Street Models lineup, I'd love to hear your thoughts:

✅ Do they look realistic?
✅ Is this something you'd be interested in adding to your layout?
✅ Would you prefer them sold individually or in multi-packs?

These traps would be right at home:

⚓ Stacked on a fishing wharf waiting for the next trip out
⚓ Piled beside a fish processing plant or fish depot
⚓ Loaded onto a dockside truck for transport
⚓ Scattered around a small fishing village harbor
⚓ Stored beside a lobster boat or fishing shack
⚓ Used as details around a waterfront diorama

I'm always looking for new detail parts that help bring scenes to life, so your feedback will help decide whether these move into production.
