Good morning everyone, today is going to be a beautiful day. Please get your booking sheet filled in and sent asap. We will be installing panels for pens on Monday May 4. We will only put up panels for those that are prebooked. Prebook your meatball supper. Keep in mind the hotel offers steak Friday night and wings Saturday night must be prebooked.

Mothers' Trail Ride menu for Saturday supper is Beef meatballs in gravy with roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables. And of course, a yummy desert. Please text or call 403-740-5997 to prebook your supper.

2025 A Mothers Trail Ride proceeds of $500 were donated to the Donalda School for Donalda Community Outdoor Sport Court and $4500 Donated to the Donalda and District Agricultural Society for improvement to the Equestrian Centre.

I`m a little late posting the result from the Mother's Day Trail Ride weekend. The numbers were down from last spring considering that the weather was prefect with no smoke but still a great turn out, food was fantastic as usual. Lots of campers for the whole weekend. A huge thank you to the volunteers for their endless hours of preparation for this event.
We are all equal in this community that works together.

In the town of Donalda you will find registration, camp sites, pens/stalls and where both trail rides begin.
Saturday ride is approximately 4.5 hours in the saddle.
Sunday ride is approximately 3.5 in the saddle.
Registration is 9:30 until noon. You may ride out at your own pace anytime after you register. I ask that when you meet up with other riders be respectful. Please pass other riders at a walk and try not to startle other horses.
Shoes or hoof protection is not required.

There are no more powered campsites available.

Saturday supper; $15 Hamburger with all the fix'n served with cowboy coleslaw and dessert.
Ham and egg sandwich available for $5 both mornings 8am until noon.
