I got a message from L asking for help with an order for her papa. You see, she lives on the island but wanted someone local to bake and deliver the order.

I said sure !
(I don't normally do deliveries unless it's a wedding) as it's just me and it's hard to be in multiple places on the weekend 😉

We decided on gf vanilla bean cupcakes filled with cherries and topped with almond smbc

Honestly, I wasn't 100% on the combo - well I made an extra and I admit I was sooo wrong. Like it was GOOD 👍

A whimsical design to celebrate a 17th birthday!

It was a bit of an unsettled day in terms of weather : hail, torrential rains, and windy. And to top it off, a power outage at 2 am which left the party pad without power 😬

The sun did come out and it was beautiful ☀️ pretty sure the power was restored in time for a great birthday party.
