June has been a wonderful month for music at Southpointe. 🎶

Across our Kindergarten–Grade 2, Grade 3–5, and Middle/Senior School Spring Concerts, students filled the stage with song, instruments, energy, and heart. From first-time performers to experienced musicians, each concert was an opportunity to share months of hard work, creativity, and a love of music with our community.

Thank you to our students for their dedication, our music teachers for their guidance, and our families for their enthusiastic support every step of the way.

Before the studying began, our Senior School students spent a day enjoying some friendly competition, cheering each other on, and making the most of Sports Day.

From races and relays to plenty of house spirit, the field was filled with energy, laughter, and teamwork. It was a chance to step away from the books, spend time together, and create memories before the final stretch of the school year.

Looking through these photos, we're reminded that some of the best moments happen when students challenge themselves, support one another, and simply have fun together.

Congratulations to our Grade 12 students on completing their final exams, and best of luck to our Grade 10 and 11 students as they head into prep and studying. We're cheering you on!

đź’ˇ How do we know what we know?

Our Grade 11 students recently showcased their learning at the IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition, where they explored questions about how we acquire, interpret, and share knowledge through real-world objects and personal connections.

It was wonderful to see parents and teachers engaging with students' prompts, asking questions, and hearing the thinking behind their work. Events like these reflect what makes the IB Diploma Programme so meaningful—encouraging students to be curious, reflective, and open-minded learners who can connect ideas to the world around them.

What happens when Southpointe parents get together?

This spring, we found out.

Over three Community Connection events, Trivia Night, Zumba, and Sip & Paint, we shared plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, some enthusiastic dance moves, and a lot of great conversation.

What started as a chance to step away from the busy pace of school life quickly became an opportunity to meet new families, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy time together as a community.

Whether you came to test your trivia knowledge, try something new on the dance floor, or simply enjoy a creative evening with friends, thank you for being part of it.

These nights reminded us that one of the best parts of Southpointe is the people who make up our community. We're grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this first Community Connection Series such a success.

Here's to more opportunities to connect, celebrate, and build community together.

🏉 Double champions! Congratulations to Southpointe Academy's Mr. Donald Carson, Junior School PHE Teacher, on an outstanding rugby season.

Donald and the UBC Old Boys Ravens were crowned BC Men's Premier League Champions, capturing the historic Rounsefell Cup for the third consecutive year. As the highest level of rugby competition in British Columbia, the Men's Premier League showcases the province's top rugby talent, making this achievement especially impressive.

The Ravens also added the Canada Cup to their trophy cabinet, capping off an incredible season with victories on both the provincial and national stages. The team secured their championship run with a win over the Ontario Blues, while more than 2,500 fans gathered at South Surrey Athletic Park to celebrate championship rugby.

We're proud to celebrate Donald's commitment, leadership, and passion for sport—qualities that inspire our students both on and off the field every day.

Congratulations, Donald, and the UBC Old Boys Ravens!
