A significant percentage of my practice involves couples counselling here in Tsawwassen, and the problems these couples face can be as simple as their approach to conflict resolution, or as complex as their sexuality. Most couples I counsel are able to make positive improvements in their relationship after 4-6 visits. Sometimes a couple may feel they want to examine more areas to create more solutions, and I’m here to help until you both feel you’ve achieved the resolution you seek. My experience with married couples, gay and le***an couples counselling, as well as working with those just learning about each other, has stood to show that when two people of any race or gender commit to adapt and become part of each other’s lives, conflict arises, ways of resolving that conflict can be learned, and peace can grow. Sadness or major clinical depression? In cases of those who suffer from a depression symptom … or more than one … the best advice is to seek a therapist who can help you determine if you’re experiencing sadness for reasonable cause, or if you might be suffering from a major clinical depression, requiring treatment. Either way, help is available, and you can begin to feel better and better. In addition to depression, you may also feel afraid of lots of things, and you may not even understand why. Sometimes that anxious feeling accompanies depression, and other times it stands alone. It’s not unusual for anxiety and depression to be closely connected to each other in the same person’s life, but it’s not always that way. Anxiety can be crippling. Still, if those anxious feelings seem to be getting in the way of your daily routine, making it hard to go outside, or drive to work, or be in an elevator, or anything else, let’s get together and talk about it. There are reasons you’re feeling those uncomfortable feelings, and it may have nothing to do with what you think. Human Resources Professional for the largest global financial services company

I’ve worked with the homeless, addicted, and mentally ill on the streets of Chicago, and as a phone counsellor with one of the largest global Employee Assistance Programs. These experiences have allowed me to work with people during the best times and the worst times of their lives. Every human being possesses dignity and deserves respect and compassion. I’m thankful for the diversity of people I’ve met, helped, and learned from. I’m also an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Trainer and I love living here in the community of South Delta!
