It’s great to see plans in the works to renew the aging Jericho pier and build a new, accessible floating dock! Wow! The Jericho Sailing Centre Assoc. has been my home sailing club for years, and this dock will dramatically improve the way we go sailing. We’ve set up a web page to review the plans and build support. The process is currently in the public consultation and fundraising stage, and there’s lots of work to do. But just the idea that it could happen has everyone around here super stoked!

Disabled Sailing Association For years, we’ve dreamed of increasing the scope and comfort of our accessible sailing program by building a floating dock. It would require a multi-million-dollar investment and a major engineering project, but will be worth it for the benefits to sailors with disabilities in Vancouver.
