Suzuki Violin Delta

Music Meadows Mountains strings camp just wrapped up yesterday! First time camp was held on Pender Island and that looks like a forever change as we are now booked in for the summer of 2026 as well. Here the Suzuki group class is enjoying a session with camp director and group class ninja Rick Dorfer.

Guess who is now certified to teach Music Mind Games unit 1? You got it! It was my great pleasure to train this month with creator Michiko Yurko herself after having my eye on her materials for over 30 years! This amazing woman has instructed teachers worldwide (for over 40 years) in how to help their students become experts in the language and grammar of music all while having great fun, and she is still going strong. Perfect for ages 18 months to 100!

Mellow is one groovy rabbit and really digs music theory. He is a great class assistant too! He and I had so much fun with 5 of my violin students. They all let me practice my new Music Mind Games curriculum on them last week. We played with Blue Jello cards, sang Daily Do and did rhythm puzzles. All ready for a MMG workshop in Prince George at Orchestra North!

A total of 14 pre-twinkle violins and bows are now boxed up for tomorrow 's big trip! We are off to Prince George and the Orchestra North Summer Camp which starts August 1st. I can't wait to meet all my new little twinkle bunnies!

What a beautiful day we had for our final recital dress-rehearsal and end-of-year ice cream social! All sizes of violins and violinists here from a 3-year-old on her 1/16th to a 13-year-old on her 3/4. A great time together for the kids to connect with music and treats!

My students ganged up on Mellow today. He is surrounded by Twinkle bunnies and loving the attention!

Been hard at work at the violin factory lately. This week 4 new pre-Twinklers are starting and the following week possibly two more! There is going to be so much music and we will have so much fun!

New class for beginning violinists! This class is definitely a go as I have my minimum registrations. It's a prep class so no instrument required. There is still space!
