Precision DKI has opened a second location in Squamish and is looking for an experienced flood technician. Our company services the Sea-To-Sky Highway and is looking for ambitious and energetic individuals to join our team! We are a full-service company that offers on the job training and orientation, competitive wages, Health and Dental benefits, and a supportive team environment. We offer a signing bonus after 3 months.

Flood Technicians work on water related emergencies in both residential and commercial properties. Flood Technicians are responsible for stabilizing, cleaning and placing drying equipment in preparation for restoration.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide communication and photos to Managers and their teams regarding status of work
-Determine category of water loss
Extract water
-Assist in determination on non-restorable building components
-Assist in demolition
-Set up drying equipment
-Clean and sanitize using bio wash procedures
-May be required to manipulate, block, or move contents
-Monitors drying process and adjusts/removes equipment as required

Qualifications:
-Superior customer service skills
-Clean criminal record as it relates to work
-Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driver abstract
-Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full sized panel van is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
-Ability to work alone or with minimum supervision
-Ability to lift industrial fans 30 - 40 lbs
-Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers
-Knowledge of construction related hand tools and power tools
-Knowledge of building materials and basic construction fundamentals
-Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning, or carpet installation is considered beneficial

Working Conditions:
-Will often work in dirty and/or wet conditions
-Work is of a physical nature
-Personal Protective Equipment are provided
-Work is full-time. Overtime is required at times.
