Kruger is vice-chair of Metro Vancouver’s Governance Committee, where last fall he introduced a motion calling for Metro Vancouver to explore options to reduce the size of the board.

“For too long, Metro Vancouver has continued to grow larger, more expensive, and more difficult for the public to understand,” Kruger said in a May 29 press release. “If we are serious about rebuilding public confidence, we need to be willing to make real changes, including putting a cap on the size of the board.”
