There have been some concerns brought forward to us of a possible cougar in our community. Please note that we have not heard of a confirmed sighting.
We have contacted Alberta Fish and Wildlife about the matter and
they recommend that if you see a cougar, please contact them at 403-755-6150.
Cougars see domestic cats and dogs as easy prey so Alberta Fish and Wildlife suggest to always walk your dog on leash and to bring your pets inside at night.
