REMINDER: Our friends at the Deep River Police will be offering a Seniors' bicycle safety morning tomorrow (Friday) at 10:00 at the Town Hall. Have a snack plus tons of fun!

Try something new! Drop into the library to pick up a ‘spill the tea’ kit, featuring a variety of teas from around the world. Try your hand at origami with a paper folding kit. Part of ‘Culture Connect’ with Local Immigration Partnership - Lanark & Renfrew

Need some volunteer hours this summer? Join us at the library! We will have circulation desk and shelving shifts available to teens who complete the mandatory orientation, which takes place MONDAY, JUNE 29th AT 1:30PM in the program room. Look who moved in for the summer? These two 100 cm (!!) tall stuffies, that's who. And what are they doing here, you might ask? Well, getting ready to be taken home by two lucky duck winners during this year's Summer Reading Club! 🌞

These bad boys will be won by the two readers who will win the Summer Reading Club tracker draw (one for kids, one for teens). Attend our Summer Reading Club kickoff party on Thursday, July 2nd from 4pm until 6pm to pick up your tracker and get started!

Summer Reading Club sign-ups open on Wednesday, June 10th! Registration will be open for our 7 weeks of programming that starts Tuesday, July 7th and runs until Thursday, August 20th (see below for the following weeks that you can register for). This program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week from 10:15am until 12:00pm and is for children ages 5 - 10. When you register, you commit to attend all three days. We will also have registration open for our new summer program, Code Club @ DRPL! This program is for programming-passionate (or those with curiosity!) kids ages 9+. Registration is required as spaces are limited. For Code Club dates, please see our events page.
