Tomorrow is the big day for the third annual . Running from 11-2 at the Deep Brook Lions Club Besides having out standing seed and plant vendors such as Hope Seeds , Veggie Squirrel , Le Farm Ducharme Hazel Grove Farm , Mike Bee from Clare, and a number of local plant growers, we will also have a special give away for the first 26 mothers that come through the door! While supplies last, a free purple viola flower or calendula flower will be available for as our thanks for all that she does. We also will have hot turkey open face sandwichs, corn chowder and hot dogs, all for $5 each. Great food, great community event and a great time will be had by all.

The just keeps getting better and better, with more opportunities to purchase local items from local food and plant producers! So happy to announce that Hazel Grove Farm is back at the Deep Brook Lions Club weekly Deep Brook Community Market and will be bringing Mushroom Spawn/Grow Kits. So on top of vegetable transplants, outdoor and indoor plants, shrubs, trees and all things green, you can now get the opportunity to grow your own ! All of this takes place this Sunday from 11-2. This is an indoor market so even if the weather could be better the pland sale will be great! Corn chowder, hot turkey buns and of course will be available.

It is still a great time to get your trees in the ground for the spring! We have a number of bareroot hazelnut bundles left over from Seedy Saturday and they are ready to plant asap!
We’re offering bundles of bareroot seedlings 2/$25 or 5/$60!
