Thank you to all the buyers and bidders that made the sale yesterday our best one to date. The sale barn was full of activity as well has a very large online presence.

Want to thank the Transcon Livestock Corp. team, Jaymes E Good Glenn Norton Cody Coupland Darren Paget and the amazing ladies in the office for the work you guys/girls put in to make it all happen. We look forward to working with you every year.

The biggest thank you though has to go to the group of incredible people and local businesses that teamed up to buy our donation heifer for $13,000 that’s going to help the Daysland school in their efforts to replace the score clock in the gymnasium. To highlight the Fullblood pen, lot 67 is the bull to do it. Weighing in at 1525 lbs and measuring 42cm. He’s long, thick, hairy and polled.

Here is the heavy weight of the black pen coming in at 1630lbs today and measures 39 cm. Extra length, hair and eye appeal.

With less than 2 weeks until sale day we’ll be highlighting a few bulls leading up to the sale on March 4th.
However, today we are going to highlight a commercial heifer, lot 90E, we are excited to be donating 100% of the purchase price to our small town school’s Parent Council that Cristin is involved with. This is the school that both Cristin and I attended. Our kids, nieces and nephews all attend now, along with multiple family members teaching there as well. They have been working hard to fundraise for a new score clock for their gymnasium and we are happy to support them as our little school is an important part of our small town.

As catalogues are hitting mailboxes, we have been made aware of a printing error with some catalogues having duplicate or missing pages. We are in discussion with the printing company to see what can be done. Please let us know if you received one of the incorrectly printed catalogues and we will be sure to get a new one sent out as soon as possible.

Thank you to all the bidders and buyers yesterday, you guys/girls made it our most successful sale we’ve ever had at Spring Lake, we appreciate the confidence in our program that you showed yesterday. 59 bulls sold for an avg. $13,610
12 registered heifers avg. $6750 and commercial heifers avg. $4750. We are completely blown away with the support. We could not do this sale without help from family and friends, thank you.
