We recently spent time helping to build a new flight pen at MARS. Volunteering time and skill in your community is important. My mom volunteers at the hospital and we help out where and when we can. Finished an arbour for a client. They are very happy and excited to grow vines up the lattice. They will be refreshing the gravel to just finish it all off.

We have been working hard in the shop. rebuilt a top for a table at least 100 years old. unfortunately we don't have pics of how it came to us but the customer was very pleased with the finished project. We also made a holder for fly rods which was a retirement gift and just made installation of a custom cover for an EV charger that a return customer wanted. It is always nice when past customers ask for new items.

Personal project. Made a custom Morris Style Chair. Back cushion done by the Foam Shop in Courtenay. Handmade "bespoke" furniture isn't cheap but so worth it.

A bespoke mantle we built for a client. Now that it's all tiled, it looks amazing. We thank them for using a small local business.

A custom urn for beloved pets has been delivered. Litter mates that passed closely together will now be back together. We knew them personally. RIP Blazer and Grace.

We have also recently lost our shop dog. His gentle presence will be missed in our lives. Run in the tall grass Koa

We were glad for the chance at building this "Catio" enclosure for a client this weekend. The client and her cat are happy. No mosquitos/bugs, and room to roam outside. The neighbours will be jealous

Finished a project for a client. They will install the shelves again when they are putting their items in.

Busy summer here at Ballington Custom Woodworking. Getting some home renos done of our own that we have been putting off. We are back at it now. Made this rain cover over a BBQ. Just need the material on top to finish it off. Projects coming in for other clients.
