I will be here! Come say hello 👋🏼
RN or LPN (Contract) — Dementia-Skilled, Problem-Solving Nurse (Comox Valley)
1–2 days/week | super flexible scheduling | stable facility seniors and changing community clients
We’re a small, nurse-led team supporting older adults and their families when the system is overloaded and important needs fall through the cracks. Our clients are wonderful humans — often living with dementia, frailty, or complex medical/social needs — and what we do genuinely changes their day-to-day life.
This is for you if you’re the kind of nurse who:
spots what’s “off” quickly (and calmly),
thinks critically, problem-solves, and follows through,
enjoys dementia care and knows how to reduce distress,
takes direction well, then runs with the plan,
documents clearly (charting matters here),
and likes working in a small, respectful team where people actually support each other.
What the work looks like:
planned visits with stable clients (community + facility support)
advocacy + practical problem-solving (the “missing pieces” families can’t manage)
client safety checks, observations, communication, and charting
you do your work, chart, and go live your life — no unpaid admin expectations
Training & culture We value and train toward the Teepa Snow / Positive Approach to Care mindset. We’re warm, professional, and protective of our client relationships. Low drama. High standards. Good hearts.
Fit matters. We’re a small team and we work well together. A 3-month probation helps both of us make sure it’s a great match — because our clients deserve consistency, not revolving doors.
