It’s been a hot minute since I last posted 😬

Working on my Tide Pool collection that I reveal soon……meanwhile I’m starting a sea glass collection and the first piece is this ring with a bezel I’ve never done before!

It took me an hour yesterday to file the bezel to fit the curvature of the ring shank……there’s got to be an easier way.

So my one necklace became two!

After I had posted my last picture, I had done a patina and while I was polishing before setting the stones, it broke in half 😢

I spent 2 days trying to repair it and absolutely nothing worked!

Work with it and I came up with a solution .

Here is the first in the series of my “Tide Pool” necklaces!

Hand crafted and forged on Entrance Island. Pebble has been collected from the shores of the Salish Sea.

Stone is a soft black with white flecks and a blood red garnet stripe running through it and polished by the sea.

~ The Ocean’s Jewelry Box ~

The shore is a Sandy jewelry box the tide leaves open for me.
Jade water swirls like melted sea glass over my toes.
Sunlit ripples scatter diamonds across turquoise waves.
Tide pools hide treasures - amethyst starfish + pearl shells.
Then the deep sapphire waves return, closing the jewelry box once more.
