Fall River Logging

On Saturday, May 23rd, we held our annual Employee Appreciation Golf Tournament for the Fall River Logging and Forbidden Mechanical teams. 10 teams, great competition, and even better company.

Thank you to our hole sponsors: Inland Truck & Equipment, Mid Island Falling, Maverick Strategies, Sunoco LP, and Velocity Truck Centers . And a special shoutout to Maverick Strategies for hosting a "weigh your wiener" competition that had everyone talking 😄

Together, we raised $1,680 for YANA Comox Valley. So proud of this crew.

A lot of care went into the work around Blueprint to keep the trail in great shape and the surrounding area intact for riders to keep enjoying. Proud to be a part of this one and looking forward to seeing access fully reopen on May 22nd. 🌲

Hauling a load of poles for our customer in Tsawak-qin, Port Alberni.

The team took part in an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) training session for extracting injured workers. Training like this is critical for keeping everyone safe and we are grateful for the opportunity to practice these scenarios.

Today we honour Red Dress Day, the National Day of Remembrance and Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirited People (MMIWG2S+).

Across Canada, red dresses are displayed as stark reminders of lives stolen, families left searching, and communities forever changed.

At Meraki, we don’t look away. We wear red, we listen, and we keep learning because reconciliation isn’t a single day. It’s part of how we show up, every day, for the people and communities around us.
