This trilobite fossils is possibly THE COOLEST addition you could integrate into your collection!

Trilobites were marine arthropods that lived in Earth’s ancient oceans for more than 270 million years, first appearing around 521 million years ago during the Cambrian Period.

They eventually disappeared during the Permian–Triassic extinction event about 252 million years ago!

Their name comes from their distinctive three-lobed body plan, and their fossilized exoskeletons can preserve incredible details of these ancient creatures!

Fun fact: they were distant relatives of modern arthropods like horseshoe crabs and crustaceans

As with any fossil, there’s something pretty magical about realizing that this creature existed hundreds of millions of years before humans ever walked the Earth 🤯
