π Spring GoByBike Week may be over, but thereβs still time to make your rides count!
Did you bike during the campaign but forget to log a few rides? No problem! π²
β° You have ONE WEEK to backlog your rides and ensure every kilometre is included.
Why log your rides?
π Your rides help demonstrate the demand for safer cycling infrastructure across BC
π² They show that people choose bikes for transportation, health, and everyday trips
π They help highlight cycling's positive impact on our communities and environment
π Eligible logged rides are also counted toward prize draws
Every ride tells a story. Every kilometre helps build a stronger case for cycling in BC.
Take a few minutes today to log any missing rides and help us capture the full impact of Spring GoByBike Week!

The Okanagan Trestles Tour is a really convenient and fun way to ride this section of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. In the old days, we hosted these rides to share the value of the Trans Canada Trail. We hope more people will not take these rail trails for granted and ask the Province to fund them properly. Join Trails BC as a member and you will put your voice behind us.
Ride the Rails You are invited to ride the 12th annual Okanagan Trestles Tour on the KVR, Trans Canada Trail

We think every day needs to be world bicycle day. Hopefully Canada and British Columbia will realize the utility of a bicycle for helping the world with all the challenges we face. The European Union understands and is moving ahead with massive investments for cycling infrastructure. We want people to be able to stay home in British Columbia and have decent infrastructure here. https://en.eurovelo.com/ -and-countries

Here is a destination rail trail that puts the Kettle Valley Rail Trail to task.
Whoa, whoa, whoa... there's a World Bicycle Day? π²
And it's actually supposed to be somewhat sunny today.
If that isn't a sign to get out on the Mickelson Trail, we're not sure what is. World Bicycle Day is celebrated every June 3 and recognizes the bicycle as a simple, reliable, and adventure-generating mode of transportation.
So dust off the bike that's been hanging in the garage, pump up those tires, and trade your office chair for 109 miles of Black Hills scenery.
Fresh air. Historic railroad bridges. Rock tunnels. No endless meetings.
Seems like an easy choice to us. π
