The GO Project has helped make the Climate Motivator program happen for the past three years, and this year the program started their summer in Ottawa learning about raising our spirited voices for climate action!
This week was filled with MP meetings (Leah Gazan, Elizabeth May, Rob Oliphant, Shannon Miedema). Meetings with Senator Tony Ince, and the Indigenous Learning Centre at St Pauls University. Workshops with Rev. Jessica Hetherington, Kairos, CBC reporter David Thurton, Exec Minister Eric Hebert-Daly, and attending committee meetings and question period. What a full week of work, walking, transit, and some fun! 🌿🌸☀️
Thanks to all of our young leaders across the country and communities of faith hosting them.

What a day on April 18! Alana Martin and Shawn Redden along with ten folks from across Shining Waters Region gathered to dream, imagine, and reimagine intergenerational ministry together. There was deep conversation, shared wisdom, and so much hope for what’s possible as we support children, youth, and young adults in our Communities of Faith.
Everyone who brought their voices, energy, and vision to the table. Excited for what this will help shape in Shining Waters Regional Council!

What a week so far and it’s only day 4! So far, youth have packed 652 food boxes, baked 100+ cookies, cut what feels like 1,000 carrots and served over 200 meals with community partners - all while singing, praying, and laughing.
So much gratitude to St Pauls United for hosting this group of 26 youth and leaders! 💒❤️
