Peter here.

As most will notice, this page/business has been quiet since I sold off my novel inventory a year + ago. At the time, I was going to continue along with the RPG's and vintage books (which I might still do in the future), but that time is not now. Effective December 16, 2025 the business is closed.

I've killed all my kijiji ads and will be boxing up the remaining inventory for long-term storage over the Christmas break, in case I want to revisit this business in the future.

Many thanks to all who have supported and interacted with me since I started Fictionfirst back in 2008. I'm sure our paths will cross again, and in the words of the great Douglas Adams...

While it looks like Canada Post is going back to work in the short-term, between the back log and holiday season, I've made the decision to close down for the holiday season, starting now.

Shipping quotes and normal operations will resume Monday Jan 6th, 2025.

Various Used Roleplaying Manuals.

As I’m dealing with emails on nearly a daily basis, I figured an update is needed.
I finally have all the vintage sci-fi and fantasy novels unpacked and in alphabetical order(ish).
Next comes the long/boring job of researching/grading/pricing each book before I photograph and list it for sale.
I hope to make some progress with this in October.

Fictionfirst used books specializes in vintage (50s, 60s & 70s) sci-fi and fantasy novels, as well as, roleplaying manuals.
