I decided to pick up the paint brush today. I have not painted with a brush for such a long time, and it felt so good! I have so many pieces that have been sitting around for months/years.

This is one of those pieces. I painted the background for this piece over a year ago. The plan was to paint something space themed. But it sat, and sat, and sat. I looked at it everyday and felt no inspiration.

Until today..... I saw a beautiful night sky in that background, and the rest fell into place. I love it. It feels so calming to me. I want to be there. Happy Long Weekend everyone. 🎨🖌️😌

Just a few little pieces I have been creating. What am I going to do with them? I'm really not sure. Some of these pieces have taken me days, weeks, and even months to create as they all are built very slowly when inspiration strikes. The pieces have a combination of real flowers, gems, sticks, nail decals, and even coffee. They all have multiple layers that I often love to hand paint trees and branches to bring out the 3D effect. Plus, as you can see, they are a bit tiny too.

So, here is just a little look at what I have been doing in my spare time.😊

Hey everyone! Guess what?! I'm going to be at the Southwood Rhubarb Festival on June 21st as a vendor, and I'm super excited!

This is probably going to be my last market for a while, so I'm bringing tons of goodies and doing a big blowout sale with some seriously great deals. I've also been working on some new little projects that would make awesome teacher gifts or just fun, unique finds for anyone. Plus, I'll even have some of my molds for sale!

Wow! I've been working on these pieces for a few months. I go up to my craft room and slowly add layer by layer every couple of weeks when I have a moment. These sun catchers are all ready for the summer season. Send me a message if you are interested.

I don't know why as I get older and my eyes get worse that I seem to be more interested in playing around with little miniature scenes that require me to wear magnifying light up lenses. But I'm definitely having a lot of fun playing around with these minis.

Life can't get much better than this. Just sitting back on a Friday night enjoying a lovely cup of tea. Especially from my brand new hand crafted mug! LOVE!!! I picked up this beauty at in Cochrane. Last I saw, there was still one more. Honestly, this place is definitely worth a visit. If you love tea, wonderful customer service, and supporting local, this is the place for you.
