Come join us this Fall for a series of epic story adventures with the Story Seekers Squad!

As a part of the Squad, you will have the chance to explore NEW BOOK GENRES, create fun book-themed CRAFTS, and compete in a BOOK OLYMPICS!

Event 1:
On October 15th, the kick off to the Story Seekers Squad's adventures will begin! During this event, Squad members will take part in a "book tasting" event, where they will have the chance to explore books of all kinds of genres at our specialty literary restaurant. Everyone will also be able to check out their favourite titles!

Event 2:
On November 19th, Squad members will learn about book art and cover design. They will then take on the role of artists themselves, as they design their own book-themed bookmarks!

Event 3:
On December 17th, Squad members will take part in an epic Book Olympics, where they will be able to compete in various book-themed contests - and of course, there will be awesome prizes to win!

Starting September 25, some online library services—including the TRACpac+ online catalogue, TRACpac app, eResources, and self-checkout—will be temporarily unavailable. The library will remain open, and programs and in-person borrowing will continue as usual. Watch our feed for updates as services are restored!

Whether you are a French-speaking family wanting to strengthen your child's French literacy skills, or simply looking to teach your child French songs, rhymes, and stories, drop in for French Family Storytime! Takes places once a month on Saturdays from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

In partnership with ACFA Calgary and led by Catherine Ricard, this program is sure to energize your child and bring the French language to life!
