Sustainable Development for Schools - Solar, Wind, Recycling Project

In 2000, two Cochrane High School science teachers spearheaded a Sustainable Development project. Now in its 11th year, this project has expanded into seven phases including solar panels, wind turbines, solar powered backup batteries and water heaters, a productive garden and recycling and composting programs.
