Lovely Saturday hike to Tent Ridge to kick off my larch hike season. The mountains are one of the places I feel so connected and at peace. In the face of all the noise of the human “tamed” world.

A tough slog up to Hamilton Lake in Yoho National Park but the view was divine. No one else on the mountain and the silence from the human world is hard to describe.

A couple more days tucked away by the Blaeberru River before I head home to beautiful Cochrane.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Did a little hike around Field, BC before I go off the grid in Golden for a free days. So grateful to live so close to so many National Parks !!!

My body is comfortably sore after several hikes these past few days. Seeing so much natural beauty has been spiriting for me as i/we enter into the warming spring.

Through the quietude of nature, I’ve been able to listen to inner knowings, which are guiding me where to focus and where to let go.

I am grateful to live in an area with such natural beauty and wonder. Mother Nature is forgiving indeed but I am hopeful us humans can find reverie in the more than him world and treat her with loving kindness. The views are impossible to capture on a phone- but they remain in my mind’s eye.
