Here’s some great tips!

New driver? Here’s some real talk. Getting your license is exciting, but being a good driver is about more than just passing the test.

✅ Put the phone away. Distracted driving happens fast and it only takes a second for things to go wrong.

✅ Don't feel pressured to keep up with aggressive drivers. Getting to your destination a few minutes later is better than not getting there at all.

✅ Leave extra space. Tailgating won't make traffic move faster, but it does reduce your time to react.

✅ Just because your friends are in the car doesn't mean you need to show off. The coolest drivers are the ones who get everyone home safely.

✅ If conditions aren't great, slow down. Rain, gravel, snow and even unfamiliar roads can catch experienced drivers off guard.

Remember, everyone starts as a new driver. Confidence comes with experience, but good habits start on Day 1.
