Meet artist, author, and illustrator Stacey Chomiak for a behind-the-scenes look at the worlds of animation and childrenโs publishing! Stacey will share her creative journey, talk about working on popular cartoons, and lead a fun draw-along while offering professional tips for aspiring artists.
โจ Stacey has worked on beloved series like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, authored the book Still Stace, and illustrated childrenโs books including Rainbow Boy and The Pride Parade.

As part of Anti-Racism Week, join us for an important community panel featuring four local voices sharing their experiences, perspectives, and reflections on racism, inclusion, and belonging. This conversation invites us all to listen, learn, reflect, and engage together in a guided Q&A discussion.

Join us at the Chilliwack Library for an engaging evening with local author and educator Leah Kelley as she discusses her book:
The Person Who Arrives: Connecting Disability Studies to Educational Practice for Teachers, Parents and Others
Leah will explore neurodiversity, inclusion, and the ways schools, families, and communities can better support diverse learners. A Q&A session will follow the presentation, and copies of the book will be available for purchase.
