People always ask me out of all the flowers I grow what is my favourite, I believe it’s the rose❤️ my mom also loved them and she would put them in little bud vases around her house😊

Simon is busy cutting 100 stems in the feverfew patch👍He doesn’t know I took this photo😄
Our peony’s and ranunculus are just about done but the feverfew, roses, stock, and bellflowers are starting to bloom and we are busy sowing sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias and grasses.

Is 400 baby Celosias too much? Nope❤️ we are growing Pink Chenille, Summer Sherbet, Rose Gold, and Spun Sugar. All purchased from who breeds these amazing flowers. In a couple weeks I will start one more succession for Fall harvest. 👍

Blush Queen is one of the last Peonies to bloom in our garden and she is beautiful! I’ve really enjoyed Peony season this year, walking the rows with my coffee, pinching for the marshmallow stage, then bringing armloads into the cooler to share with our customers❤️

Ranunculus are planted in early March in the poly tunnel as they grow nice and tall in the cool weather. Once the heat comes in June they stop blooming and are done. One of our favourite flowers❤️

It’s good to look at progress photos, this is the difference between March 2- May 5. When you’re in the thick of prepping rows, starting seeds, and planting, it’s hard to remember to take time for notes.
I’m finally starting to keep a journal, (better late than never) keeping notes on varieties, colour, gardening successes and failures. This will help us remember what works year over year. 😊
Fresh bouquets for moms this weekend❤️ Prices are $20, $30, $40 so come get your local flowers grown by me and Sy😊

When we started flower farming 4 years ago, I really wanted to grow Eucalyptus, lots of it. We started some by seed and we bought some seedlings from and we now have 6 different types and around 200 plants.❤️
