Here I am not talking about politics at all but about what attracted me to my church. Furiously Curious Company sure knows how to make good teaser trailers for their podcasts.

“It’s Father’s Day and Everybody’s Wounded:” It’s Time to Face Up to the Problem of the P***o Right in Conservative Politics – StuartParker.ca 06/21/2026

I would urge conservative political thinkers and activists and cultural critics of all ideological perspectives to give this piece a read. I think I may be on to something when I say,

“I want to suggest that the P***o Right is a phenomenon larger than I had previously considered, consisting not only of degenerate perverts, but all those whose politics have lost their teleology, their sense of purpose and have become the politics of pickup artistry. Politics, for the P***o Right pickup artist, sees political outcomes either as constituting immediate pleasure through some kind of petty victory, like winning a convention vote, or getting promoted past a rival courtier. Political pickup artistry is also devoid of true collectivity, of true sharing, as it undercuts natural forms of team-based male solidarity. On the P***o Right, young men are always switching sides, quitting and rejoining ephemeral alliances that do not even deserve to be called 'teams.' It is easy for the young men on the P***o Right to forgive one another for stabbing each other in the back; they have no expectation of any loyalty that outlasts their present level of power and status; it is easy to forgive a betrayal when neither party to is understands it to be a sin, a breach of honour.

Many are surprised that I today identify as a member of the Christian Right, despite my conversion. I identify with the Christian Right because they are honour-based and teleological; they are not pickup artists. That is not to say that all or even most self-identified Christians in conservative politics are Christian Right. Indeed, some of the most prominent conservative pickup artists proclaim their putative Christianity loudly and proudly on social media as part of their self-marketing strategy as influencers, bundlers and investors.”

Chapter 39: It’s Christmas Every Day At the BC Legislature | Stuart Parker 06/19/2026

Now the memoirs approach the present and people still in the public eye are beginning to show up.

"We noticed they were chatting with then-rising star, Elenore Sturko, the ambitious, fractious, mercurial le***an ex-cop, the third BC Liberal legislator to cross to the party before the election. We made eye contact with Sturko and suddenly, she broke off from her crowd, about twenty feet away and literally ran through the crowd up to Matt and me, who were both a good ten inches taller than she. She reached us, stopped and then did a vertical leap to be eye level with us, momentarily, stared into our eyes with those large-pupiled Denise Richards-style crazy eyes, landed and ran back, without a word.

'Did you see that, Matt?' I exclaimed, as she ran off.

'No. We did not see that,' he replied."

Signposts on the Road to Dictatorship in Canada – Part Four – StuartParker.ca 06/13/2026

I have now completed my four-part essay on the demolition of Canadian democracy. While it is important to pay attention to the loss of our freedoms, of speech, assembly, association and movement, there is a complementary and equally frightening project to destroy our collective democratic institutions, norms and processes.

Signposts on the Road to Dictatorship in Canada – Part Four – StuartParker.ca Signposts on the Road to Dictatorship in Canada – Part Four This is the fourth article in a four-article series. The first, second and third articles in the series lay out my case for the gradual collapse of Canadian democracy. It is hard to write about Canada’s descent into authoritarianism in ...

Chapter 38: Who Let This Guy In the Building? | Stuart Parker 06/08/2026

I am releasing chapter thirty-eight of my memoirs. Here's an amusing excerpt from below the fold.

"It was around this time that I began circulating my opinion, to all with ears to hear, that [Keith] Baldrey had actually died in 2018 but no one had had the heart to tell him. And he has been a lurking, ghostly presence in the corridors ever since."

Chapter 38: Who Let This Guy In the Building? | Stuart Parker Rustad granted me his exclusive proxy but stated that I would not be paid for any of my work unless I got the Greens to the negotiating tabl

Furiously Curious Company sure know how to make a teaser trailer!

06/06/2026

This is the most interesting and challenging interview I have done in years. Kyle at Furiously Curious Company is a superb interviewer who absolutely lives up to his billing.

Episode 55 of "The Furiously Curious Show" with Stuart Parker is LIVE!

"40 Years on the Left… Then He Found Christ"

Stuart Parker spent about 40 years in left-wing politics and activism and then became a Christian.

In this episode, we get into his story, growing up in a anti-Christian world, how he got pulled into politics so young, what changed for him over the years, and how he eventually ended up getting baptized and following Christ.

We also talk about Canada, the old left vs the new left, immigration, race, Christianity, cancel culture, and why politics is a pretty terrible replacement for God.
I found him fascinating to talk to. He’s thoughtful, honest, and not afraid to say what he actually thinks.

My uncle was re****ed. I sit next to a re**rd in church. I joined the church I am in because I was at a house party hosted by people who invited re****ed folks to attend. And I thought, "my uncle's church was so great; they treated him with such kindness, such generoisity. Maybe this church will be loving the way Uncle Barton's church was." So I joined their church.

When I see these fu***ng pearl-clutchers telling me off for saying "handicapped," "disabled" or, God forbid, "re****ed," I know immediately that they spend no time with actual re****ed people, nor are there any they care about. They don't understand the sense of humour you need; they don't understand that re****ed people may have cognitive struggles but they do actually know they're re****ed and have made peace with it. They don't understand that the re****ed person often laughs first at how they made a mistake and wants you to laugh along to downplay things, focus on the good time.

I fu***ng hate these pious secular church ladies telling me not to say "re****ed." Do they know how much it upset and confused my uncle in the 80s to have to go from being "re****ed" to "challenged" in order to make, them happy, not him!?

I spent every Christmas holiday as a kid, until he died when I was 17, helping my re****ed uncle Barton learn his ABCs and how to spell his name. Yet, once again, somehow, I'm the bad guy.
