Main Motor Encoder Signal error:
The Main Motor Encoder is Main Shaft Sensor on part list (XC6136051).

For those older model machines. Maybe is just dust caused the error message. You can try to clean it with a Q-tip and a little bit of alcohol first(the blue arrow pointed that clear disc getting dirty). If it still not working then check the connector on Main PCB, replacing the sensor is the final step.

If it's not dust caused, here is step by step troubeshooting.
1. Check the encoder and its connector to make sure it's connected without problem.
2. Clean the encoder film (see the blue arrow on the photo) to make sure it won't block the sensor.
3. Clean the encoder sensor to amke sure nothing block the sensor.
4. If the encoder burn out, replace a new encoder.
5. Main motor problem.
6. Timing problem.
7. Main PCB problem.

The original hoop center position off centered, follow the photos instruction to correct it. (The instruction photos are using the baby lock machine. It the same as Brother PR620. For other PR series machines have the same function or similar one.)

Please note: this correction is different than the hoop sensor calibration. (If you keep showing "Change it to the big frame" when you load a design that can fit on the frame. That will be the different problem than this post.)
Check the frame holder arm screws to make sure the screws are tightened. If the error isn't from the screws. The hoop sensor does not function normally. It maybe needs to calibrate the hoop sensor (Hoop sensor calibration, A/D Test).

Needle Plate Cover XC6499151

This is a small cover that is placed on your needle plate when you are using the cap frame set. It provides a convex surface to help support the curved underside of your cap. So the cap fabric and the needle plate won't have big gap to cause the cap fabric bouncing too much while stitching.
Better use duct tape on both edges to hold it on the needle plate to hold it. Sometimes it will buncing out and broken (hit by needle).
