Our club wouldn’t be the same without these people and they deserve all the recognition and celebration!
A recap of the Members Opening Tournament on Saturday!
It was a lovely day on the course as Kevin Houde, Mike Fernquist, Mark Cummins, and Christie Hall took home the trophy!
What an incredible tournament filled with amazing players, great shots, and even better company. Thank you to everyone who came out to make the day such a success.

Another busy weekend for 5 of our juniors. 4 competed in a relatively new tour called the tour at Sirocco. And one of our new juniors (works in our Backshop) competed in the in Riverbend (Red Deer). Up next for a bunch is the in Banff and the in Swift Current.

Our first hole-in-one of the season happened on our 4th day of play. On May 1st, 2026, Mr. Greg Sereda knocked in his third “ace” of his golfing career. His sweet swing of a four iron found the bottom of the cup on Hole #13. Greg was enjoying the beautiful day of golf with his wife Dianne Sereda and their good friends Marc and Janice Levine. His 147 yard shot was a great way to add a little more excitement to an already better day. Fun fact. One of his other “aces” was on the same hole with the same club, just a few more yards apart.

This past weekend saw four of our juniors competing across the province and country. Three competed in the at and one competed in the Next Gen Championship in in BC. It’s fun to watch our juniors compete, succeed and learn on some great junior tours.
